About Us
Our Story
Thomas Parachou, owner
Straight out of high school Tom entered the Butte College Welding Program in Northern California. He did not waste any time; he graduated and immediately went to work for a company in Sacramento that allowed him to work 8 months out of the year. The rest of the year Tom perfected his snowboarding skills to become a professional snowboarder for the winter months. He snowboarded with many of the Olympic snowboarders who trained in the Lake Tahoe area. Tom continued until his injuries didn’t allow him to snowboard professionally any longer. He then turned to using his skills as a Welder full-time, specializing in the sanitary stainless processing system in the food and beverage industry. He continued to grow, building his own Rig Truck, traveling the country, working for others until eventually he decided to start his own business called Thomas Precision Welding.
George Parachou, owner
George has always been very close with his son and supported him through his profession as a snowboarder. He loves to snowboard with Tom and his friends, when he gets the chance. In 2020 George joined Tom to help grow Thomas Precision Welding from a one- or two-man operation into a multi-faceted company, this was a natural decision for the both of them. George brings his experience of 30 years as a business owner in the gas station and automotive repair business, along with his experience of 10 years working for Tony Robbins as a top salesperson and his business coaching skills, to help build this company with his son.
